I hope the baggage people get their act back together soon. That made it really convenient. I'll let you know what I see...

that things are back to normal with the baggage transport. I went over with a group last weekend, and the familiar stakebed truck with the sign was there waiting. In went our baggage, and for $7 (it would have been $8, but there was some kind of group thing, I think) gear, weights, and tanks were taken over to the Casino in a timely manner. Things went well on the pickup end, and everything was waiting for us in the chain link fence area behind the baggage service window when we were ready to go home. What a deal!

HI Kelpmermaid,

Well, I am back in town, got in Wednesday night. Will be going out on the Pacific Star for Chamber Day and then going to Casino Point 5/10. We are taking the 8:30 shuttle from Catalina Landing.

Is anyone going to be there on 5/10? What is the water temp right now? I am not able to access the website to pick up water temps for some reason.

I had a reading of 59 on the first dive. On the second dive, I had 57...tide was lower.
This is all at 50 feet or less.

Thanks for the info.

It is going to feel good diving the kelp again. really looking forward to it.
