Thresa, the odds of diving with Sea Lions is 80%+ at the 'Nods (as the locals call Coronado Islands). But the rest of underwater life is weaker @ the 'Nods as they are actually in the Mexican waters and have not been protected as much as Catalina and northern channel islands. But because they are differant than the other island off SoCal, I would still consider diving there.
It's always amazing the drastic difference in all the Channel Islands.
