I'm curious for those of you in the know- which of the Cayman Islands would you dive if you had to pick one?
Grand Cayman?
Little Cayman?
Cayman Brac?

Please advise.

It depends on what you are looking for and who you are going with. If I were going with a non-diver or had to have nightlife in order to enjoy a dive trip, I would pick Grand Cayman, as there are plenty of topside activities and nightlife available there, and not on the other two. There is not a big difference between Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, other than a few more topside sights to see on Cayman Brac and better wall diving on Little Cayman. LC is also a little quieter and more secluded, but Brac is quieter and more secluded than about 90% of the other locations in the Caribbean. I am going to Brac next month, but I have been to both Brac and LC. The reason I chose Brac was purely economic. If money were no object, I would be going to LC instead. Either way, I rank the diving on Brac (twice) and LC (once) ahead of what we have seen diving Cozumel (twice), Belize, and Roatan (twice).

LC and CB have more pristine dive sites, but much less topside amenities

GC has some excellent diving, but lots of damaged sites as well, and tons of topside amenities

if you "want to get away from it all", LC and CB are the place for you. i think LC has the edge on more accessible better dive sites.

if you want an excellent dive experience with tons of things to do when you are not diving, GC is the place for you.

Based solely on the diving, LC first and Brac second, although I have to confess I am ranking GC third based on what I have heard, because I can't bring myself to stay on GC long enough to go diving. For me, it's a transit point on the way to the Sister islands. Based solely on topside ambiance, LC and Brac tied for first, GC a distant third. I like quiet and remote! Dive, eat, sleep, start over. Perfect vacation!

I like LC too, but GC can be quiet and remote too. Just skip Seven Mile Beach or near town. Go to the East End, quiet and diving is as good as LC, wall just doesn't start as shallow.
