Jaye drove home today from Van Nuys after school (she's a teacher...)

She was at the 405 and Wilshire / Sunset area at about 3:00 PM today. Check this news story: http://knbc.nbcweatherplus.com/weathernews/10773559/detail.html

She called me to tell me it was snowing. I'm all, "yeah right..." She sent me a picture from her phone... it was snowing.

When she got home, there was still snow on my truck! Unreal.

Snow in LA... I've been here all my life, and its been a long, long time since I've seen snow here. In the foothills, sure. Pasadena - OK. But on the Westside? No way.

Too funny.

wow...it snowed in Montecito in 2000 or so!

You should report yourself sick and get in the car right now with some cables and head for Big Bear.

Arnold says the citrus is bust.

Hmm, Mo2vation, up here in Ontario we had really mild (8-12 degrees celsius) temperatures, no ice on the lakes for most of December and the first week of January.

The regular cold temps just started a couple of days ago.

Freaky, not so funny (though my heating oil bill should be way lower this quarter).

I could've stayed in NY for this crappy weather & as luck would have it they are having one of the mildest winters they've had in a long time, yea real funny.

My bro said it was pretty freakin cold in Huntington Beach area. Snow? Who would have thought. We just got our first major snowfall here recently, as we're finally back in the bitter cold we're so used to. This is the worst. It's frickin cold but no ice diving yet. :(

Ken, am I getting old? IT IS JUST TOO DANG COLD TO FIT MY TOOKAS INTO NEOPRENE and jump into this icewater!

Heck it is warmer in the water than standing in the pkg lot, what is next? Locusts?

Global warming is causing it all!!!!
My bro lives in Little Tujunga Canyon, above SF valley, his kids built a snowman!
I remember in 91' when we had the deep freeze in LA, shut down truck traffic from the grapevine all the way to Vancouver, BC.........
