touche deepsix... don't forget it can be used as a makeshift beer bong. The snorkel saved several the day at several parties when I was in college.

At my university diving club part of the "initiation" on the first pub crawl of the year was to be timed drinking a pint of beer (a 20 oz English pint) while laying on your back with a snorkel. 7s :) Now the only problem I have with that is it's a terrible waste to drink fine English beer at such speed!

Comming soon to a dive centre near you.

Extended Range Snorkelling
Snorkel Switching
Deep Snorkelling
Wreck Snorkelling
Multi Snorkel/Deco Snorkelling
and if you want to go pro, try the Snorkelmaster Course

Just think of the possible elimination of failure points, no
o-rings, no tanks or manifolds and if you get into a siltout...just follow the snorkel out :)

Are they all PADI courses??

On Discovery channel they were showing Navy Seals in training having to buddy breath with a snorkel...Maybe they have no declassified this skill and are licensing it to PADI *s******s*

Back to the 4.5' hose: If you get one that short you won't be able to route it in the DIR style, or any style for that matter, and you'll end up doing more harm than good. Get a 7' and be a lot happier!

Question:
bcsean:
Maybe it's time the organizations look at why you need a snorkel to scuba dive?
Answer: ScubaPro snorkle: $50.00.
