I sneezed during one of my OW cert dives. It came on really suddenly so I wasn't expecting it and didn't try to hold on to my mask or anything. Like drbill's, mine was mostly thru my mouth and so I didn't slime my mask, but my reg shot right out of my mouth. I caught it and put it back in without missing a beat, but then started laughing so hard that I flooded my mask.
During that same trip I also proved that you can puke through a snorkel. It did not attract fish, but did repel divers.
