SmartTrak/Aladin 2g shows incorrect gas for dives after replacing battery

I had the battery replaced in my Aladin 2g about 9 months ago and unbeknownst to me, the gas was changed from air to 22% nitrox so all my dives when imported into smartrak are showing as nitrox dives. I don't dive nitrox right now so I didn't see any reason why it would change or why I should have checked it, obviously that was a mistake, but I'm trying to figure a way to change it in SmartTrak for the dives it's imported but I can't seem to. Seems like the gas data on the dives is one thing that isn't changeable.

Is there any way to correct this so my dives don't show as nitrox?

Hi Phork,
Unfortunately, once logged into dives, your nitrox setting of 22% can't be changed. Who changed the battery ? It sounds like it was inadvertantly set wrong. Tech support does not change the nitrox setting unles the unit comes in with a setting issue.

LDS changed the battery. Guess it's not that big of a deal, just an annoyance in the logs.

As its set to 22% no its not such a big deal, but you really should make sure the gas is set properly for all your dives before going in.
Setting the gas wrong can cause you to stray far into deco obligations without being aware or diving elevated po2 levels for extended periods of time. Both of which can be very unpleasant and if you're unlucky very detremental to your health...

True that. I just never checked because I haven't dove nitrox with that computer so I didn't think I needed to check it. I guess it just goes to show that it's better to be thorough than it is to risk diving with a computer set to the incorrect gas. Luckily most of my diving is in 30ft of water but again, you're quite correct.
