I have a Rix SA-3, that I will sell for $2k, less than 10 hours since rings and valves replaced...I also have a filter I will sell for $300-- you can pump O2 compatible air to 3500 psi.

Bauer is like Volvo Penta, charging astronomical prices for parts. Profit center, ugh. Another term is extortion.

I learned this the expensive way. I tried to save money and bought a used Bauer Jr 2, (about which I received very good advice from you, pescador775, while trying to get it working). Final result, I ended up paying almost the same as I would have for a new one after buying a lot of parts. I have a working compressor but it ended up costing almost US$4000 by the time I was filling tanks.
My mistake was buying online site unseen. I screwed up...I trusted the person. Beware of an online dealer in this part of the world.

Darn, Hank, the last time we talked, Bauer had told you only a 2nd stage valve was needed. Wha' hoppened??

I got those parts, put them in and still no pressure so I took it to a local guy here who's the Bauer dealer rep. He replaced the first stage piston, and third too I believe...anyway, it was $1000 in parts and labor. He got it working like new though but then I saw he had a Coltri Sub right there that looked identical to mine. He said they're pretty much the same and would have sold it to me for $1800. I ended up paying almost double that when it was all said and done. But, it's working. :D Thanks again for your help.
