I'm a Fish!
This isn't the typical size or how to mount thread. Most of what I have read so far or seen in pictures is a pony bottle slung from BP/W. My question is, would slinging a pony be cumbersome if I use a Scubapro Classic BCD or would it be no different?

My plan is to sling an AL30 but would drop to an AL19 if the 30 would interfere with my BC and Air2.

I sling it thesame way with my sp glide pro bcd as with my bpw, doesnt get in the way of air2 either

Awesome, thanks for the quick response.

And i sling al40, so al30 should be even easier since its shorter

you can use a pony mount and strap it to the main tank and use it back like that if you want. Shouldn't be too bad, not fmailiar with that BC but as long as you have a shoulder D-ring it should be fine. Or just go to a BP/W at black friday when you can get them for like $350 fully setup at DRiS

Since the pony hangs free once in the water, size doesn't matter. As long as you have shoulder and hip rings for attachment, you should have no problem. I don't know what rigging you are planning to use but you may find that you need a little extra slack at the hip ring.

It can work on any BC with decent shoulder and hip bottom rings.

Thank you all for the responses. I went with the 30cf with a stage bottle rig.
