So this is whats happening. I bought a brand new Luxfer 19cf Pony and I am considering slinging it. I am not a fan of mounting it with my primary because I like being able to hand it off. I will be using it mosty for dives between 80 and 100 feet. I really want some input from people who sling their 19cf pony. All Input is helpful.

I have a 30cf, I slung it using a slight variation on these instructions: DIR-diver.com - Stagebottle rigging

I got most of the stuff just at Home Depot, with the exception of the bolt snaps which I got at my LDS in the tech section. I also didn't use innertubes, I bought some tank bands but they're too tight so I'm still trying to figure out a better solution for keeping my reg in place.

It for the most part disappears in the water since its only a couple pounds negative. I also distributed the weight so I had 2 pounds more in my right pocket than my left, since my pony is on the left so I wanted to be balanced.

It's a great way to carry a small cylinder. I think you'll be very pleased.
When I first saw posts like this that it was the preferable way I honestly didn't believe it. I just couldn't picture how a relatively large tank wouldn't be a major annoyance, but after diving with one, it really is the truth
