Hey guys, any of you get Spike network? They have this new slamball, well maybe its not new, but i just started to watch it, they have this league where the floors of the court are all bouncy, its insane watching them play.

I know, I know... it's for men. But I like it too.:D

Slamball is different - haven't really gotten into it, yet.
Watch the old American Gladiators - lots of 80's mullets.
My favorite show, on Spike is Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. It is the best!!! It's a Japanese show, that they've dubbed in english. Lots of obstacle courses w/ people taking a real beating. As a plus, it is hilariously perverse.

The new Spike show that really cracked me up last week was "The Joe Schmo Show" (Tuesday evenings). Its fake reality show (9 actors, 1 guy who thinks it's on the level). The whole thing is rigged, and the actors play their parts (the crusty vet, the gay guy, the schemer, the b-tch, the best friend, etc.) well. The "personal" interviews are a stitch. Catch it if you can. It's hilarious!

It's the"reality" show for people like me who hate reality shows.

I watched the most extreme elimination show last saturday and it was hilarious, they used the ropes to swing into the wall and they had to try to velcro themselves to the wall... My most favoritve part of it was when they had to get across the rollers, that show is hilarious

I watched a few of those Japanese variety shows when I lived in Japan. I like the ones where the contestants have to endure some physical challenge (i.e. sit in scalding water, cage match with a martial arts expert, crawl through tube of rats or bugs....) for a period to time, in return they get to use an equal amount of air time to promote something of their choice. Capitalism at its finest.

What makes this show even funnier is the commentary. It is not the original dialog, translated into english. They have made up false names & jobs f/ the contestants. Every reference is of a sexual nature. It's quite juvenile. I love it!
I spent a whole sunny, beautiful Saturday inside, watching a marathon of Most Extreme - hours & hours. And I didn't regret one minute of it.
