I have skinny wrists and arms. My semi-dry does not make a good seal around my wrist. The suit has both the wrist seal and an internal gasket seal of about 1 inch.
Before I look to sew in some neoprene drysuit wrist seals into the semi-dry I thought I would look here for some suggestions. I have looked into the Appollo bio-seal but they were about $75.00.

Thanks,
Jeremy

You should maybe have a bit longer seals making the seal coming partly over your hand...

You should get a better seal with latex drysuit seals. The seals do come in different sizes and styles so make sure you get the smaller size.

One of the styles is like a funnel where the end gets pretty darn small. More of a V-shape than a funnel. With a small wrist you just won't have to trim the seal as much as others.

My wrists are very tiny compared to the rest of me! :11: I use the latex seal that is more like hmm... how to describe this?.... looks like a juice glass sitting on top of a shot glass. Juice glass part attaches to sleeve, wrist goes thru shot glass. These also come in different sizes. I like this style because more of the latex covers my wrist thus giving more 'sealed' area.

Don't worry about the latex being less warm than a neoprene seal - your sleeve and glove will cover most if not all of the wrist seal.

Good luck.

Thanks for the great ideas. Now how to attach the drysuit latex seals to my neoprene wetsuit.

How would I go about doing this?

Jeremy,

I don't know how to attach the seals. It should be very doable as there are neoprene drysuits. There should be existing threads explaining how &/or where it can be done. Otherwise, you may want to start a thread asking exactly that in the title.

Good luck,
Paula

The Bio-Seals by Apollo were going to be my suggestion, either that or latex, or have someone properly alter your suit.
