Oh man.. that would be sweet. I'm heading off to whytecliff to finish off my open water in a few weeks, hopefully i can catch a glimpse of it.
 
Very COOL! I lived in Vancouver for 33 years and didnt know we had sharks in our local waters.
 
There is a dog fish hanging around the bay. It came within 5 feet of my son and I in the shallows. I would say it is about 2 1/2 feet, maybe a little larger but not much. We saw it 4 or 5 times on the one dive. My son, 13 was definately thrilled.

Another vote for video! Can we get more information about what depth, time of day, vis, etc?

If this is true, there'll be a stampede to the north shore.
