Hi all,

I'm thinking about a trip to Sipidan next year with my family most likely - and am just wondering what the standard of diving needed is like?

We will be diving with a couple who are just regular holiday divers, AOW - decent bouyancy control, and have done about a dozen wall drift dives in Bohol - just drop off the ledge of the wall and let the current take you.

Is Sipidan similar to this style? I know its big walls and drifts, but do you have to deal with real strong ripping up/down drafts as well?

Thanks all-
F

AOW should be no problem, Sipadan is wall dive you can do drift dive as well. ripping current is depend of dated I mean "full moon" especially Barracuda point.
You going to stay in Mabul or Kapalai?

That's music to my ears - I just didn't want to go and end up my friends having a crappy trip cuz the diving was beyond them...

Think will stay on Mabul - looks good, but altogether the trip is still just an idea...
