Yesterday Roger and I went to check out the garden center at K'mart and they have these fairly large Turtles out of ....I'd say concrete. One of them was a tripod...thought of making them an offer and sinking it when I finally (if ever) get back in the water.

Make me a few suggestion on where to sink it....

hmmmm....That would be about 60'...that's an ok depth. Wouldn't want to go deeper than that though.

a few more suggestions and I'll start a poll

E-Beach about 20' in front of the exhaust tubes... It would be our little joke.

Actually I'd be more partial to someplace that isn't as large of a draw, such as Firehouse.

Make sure you get a permit from the state, the EPA, the US Government, the coalition for blue oceans, green oceans, pink oceans, and the local "Protect your underwater sand atoms" club.

would those be duplicate or triplicate forms??

My vote is for out in the sand at E-beach, then you could make it a nav training target.
I can tell you there is no way it would be allowed in the MLCD. I know the rules say "no take" but I would think that means "no leave" either. Besides anywhere within shore range on the north shore won't last a winter unless it's bolted down. I've seen boulders almost the size of my truck in new positions over the last 5 yrs.
