VivaAerobus - Mexico's low fares airline - Flights, Hotels, Rent a car will be starting daily flights from Austin to Cancun spring of '08. I have not seen a schedule yet and the price is still not announced. If they follow their current model, the rt should be in the $200 range. Houston and Dallas already have low cost carriers going to CUN and COZ, but for central Texas the Mayan Riviera and Cozumel just got a lot closer :thumbs_up: .

Good news indeed....Austin needs a cheaper flight to Coz...hell they just need a nonstop direct flight to Coz....

Right now, I THINK they are just going to CUN, but at $200RT I can take the bus to the ferry in PDC!
Not to mention DAILY flights, no more 3, 4, or 7 day vacations from Funjet. I just hope that we get to CUN at a decent time.

BTW, do you dive at Spring Lake in SM?
