Thank you for your inquiry regarding the compatibility of zipseals with silicone.

We are investigating the possibility of making silicon seals that are compatible with the ZipRings. However, there are a lot of technical issues, since the silicon cannot be bonded to the ZipRings. The ZipRing locking mechanism would have to be molded with the seal in one piece which would require molding variable durometers of silicon in a single mold. At this point 19 out of 20 silicon molders say it is not possible. We are currently working with 2 to molders to see if this is possible.
