I recently fitted replacement Sitech silicone seals in my Scubapro trilaminate drysuit and have been getting wet. I found a tiny hole in the neck seal. I researched repair methods, but quickly came to the conclusion that replacing it was the most cost effective solution.
Anyway in my research I found that this glue could be used - Sil-Poxy™ Product Information, but it is expensive. I am considering purchasing a tube for future possible repairs (my dive buddy has the same seals). If I do get some I want to fix the hole in my existing seal, so I have it as a spare, but I have no silicone to patch it with (I didn't need to trim it). I could just use the old neck seal as my source of silicone patches, but that seems a waste and I lose the option of a spare. The previous neck seal I replaced was latex, and I am not sure I could use that to pact the silicone
Any idea where I can purchase a sheet of silicone rubber to use as a source of patches?
