One of my cave dive buddies is having some trouble getting his stage to sit correctly into his sidemount setup. He's tried moving around the lower clamp but without success. The tank just always seems to kick out to some degree. See photo. Ive also made suggestions to adjust the length of the tank necklace and possible switch to a bungee neckless instead of paracord. Any other suggestions to tighten this up?

How is he attaching his back gas? Cross clipping?
He's using the xdeep metal sliding d-rings for his sidemount cylinders and clipping stages to the fixed drings on his back (the d-rings typically used for the butt pouch when not staging).

Shorten the bottom stage leash, and put it on a bungee for easier clipping to the drop D. Bottom band looks a bit high as well.
