The Jetstream is only sold as a complete regulator system with both the first and second stage together. For safety reasons the unique upstream design Jetstream DR second stage cannot be used with an ordinary downstream design first stage as this would eliminate the overpressurization valve (OPV) altogether.

Sherwood ultima is side exhaust, rare though. I've got one I haven't even tried yet.

I think the second stage was made by Poseidon with a Sherwood Maximus first.

Yes, the second has a Poseidon logo stamped into it and a Sherwood decal.
