Recently started with a D90 in an Ikelite housing and a couple of DS-51 strobes.

Adjusting settings and I have noticed that with the TTL I cannot get a faster shutter speed than 1/200. I am guessing this is as a result of the shutter/strobe sync speed. Am i correct?

I have not used the D90 underwater. But for the D7000 the synch speed is either 1/200 or 1/250. I think you are right on this one.

D90 fastest shutter speed with flash (sync speed) is 1/200.
