Well, when you use your left it feels like someone else, unless you're left-handed, then for that you lead with your right...

It's so good to be ambidextrous!

I think people should use their hands any way they want to. Nothing more boring than seeing "DIR" wannabees holding their little rigid hands together in perfect formation - nothing kills creativity like conformity. The ultimate in boring are folks who say "you shouldn't".

What I appreciate the most are (my cruel side) are seeing newly minted students sitting on the bottom, on their knees doing "fairy wand" movements trying to stay down. That's entertaining. X

But we little clones are so ELEGANT that way. Besides, the stereotyped posture makes us easy to identify so you can avoid us afterward . . .

That's what my problem is. I was told last Monday by a Hyatt time share rep in Key West "YOU are a non conformist". I smiled and said thank you :D

That's funny. :D In my time I have seen some variants on the theme. I vote for the hand-on-top of the hand as the most popular and my least favorite. The most honest hand position is the upward facing, open hand, begging for alms position. Sadly, this position is a definite "avoid at all cost" subconscious gesture. X :)

Key West = non-conformist = conformity to be non-conformist? :)

16~50 dives and he cares enough to notice.... no worries.... with "ya'lls" input he'll do just fine. i've been on dives with people who have hundreds of dives that still look like a fricken dragonFly down there..... KHACKEN - just keep up the good work....

Yeah, I haven't really noticed him working his hands on dives anyway. Must be a "hypothetical" question?

In Ghana, the left hand is the 'dirty' hand. It is considered offensive to use the left hand in public. Waving with the left hand, for instance, would generate some mighty nasty looks. Shaking hands and geturing are done with the right hand and it can be quite a challenge to share a meal without slipping up!

Ever notice that when men wear their traditional clothing they drape the robes over their left hand? Maybe in pictures or a movie?
