The Thread rating system used to mean something
but with most all the threads getting rated as 1 star, threads with good information, another one thanking justleesa for a selfless act .. I think it was meant as an insult ... It's lost all usefulness ...and .. I think the rating sys has been a way for some to get around the TOS .. to make non-TOS friendly remarks about others .. you will see that in almost every case that it is done by one vote ..... by maybe the same person?

The justleesa thread was the last straw ... time to remove the stars

It's not me :D

I think the stars are easy enough to ignore. Besides, the stars might act as a way for misanthropes to feel like they are achieving something and prevent them from posting trash and venom. They can only hurt you if you let them.

kind of like the 'hate hannity hot line"

They serve no purpose and they waste bandwidth.

Nuke them.
