Should I try a cruise or a hotel in Cozumel?

I've been diving in Cozumel in mid January and been very comfortable. I was wearing a 3mm wet suit and I am Canadian, but the water was 78/79ish and some very comfortable diving. I did have to wear a sweater on one morning too. There are always cheap deals for Coz AI's with diving usually available as a package.
