stevead:I'll agree with perone and scubastud if their pemises are combined. Your primary computer is your brain, therefore a primary computer failure is definitely an aborted dive. Now the two electronic computers I carry are my secondary and tertiary computers so if either one fails, I still have my primary and one backup, therfore, no need to abort.

stevead:I was being a wiseass. if my primary (brain) fails it is an abort. If I am carrying redundant electronics I will continue (a recreational no stop dive) on one.
