Well, it's general knowledge that shore diving is not really a thing here. However, I do enjoy some long dives at Spanish Rocks even in the usual crappy visibility. So I was wondering if we have more potential than just Spanish Rocks. I know of Venice and did the Regina, but was wondering if anyone would know any less known sites. At some point I will try to explore this area here at Coquina Beach (about 1/4 mile from the beach):

So I was wondering if anybody has any pointers for any other potential sites? I'll take anything: bridges, bay beaches and reefs that are close to shore in Clearwater, St. Pete, and Anna Maria Island.

Hi! I love doing shore dives! Despite working in Tampa for >5 years, I still dont feel at home here, likely because I haven’t done much shore diving in this area. I always race to South FL whenever I have time off for shore trips. Ive gone off a boat snorkeling for meg teeth in Venice beach , snorkeling offshore for scallops around the area of Weeki Wachi, etc. Please let me know if you’d like a buddy.
