Working remotely for the next year and hoping to do it from locations with opportunities for frequent or even daily diving. Unfortunately, Live Aboards often have limited Wifi / Work Setup opportunities.
Were there any good resorts / ops that offer great diving live aboard like experiences but from a shore based location friendly for remote working (strong wifi, rooms with desks or work spaces, easy and quick access to diving).
Any suggestions /recs appreciated. Extra bonus points for any specific dive guides / spotters / seekers at those locations!

I'd contact these guys and check if they will prepare chalets for you for an extended stay with the necessary amenities. They have what is as close to a LA as possible while diving from shore. They have three villages to choose from:

Heck, if they do this for you, please let me know. I'd be very interested in doing a very extended stay and doing what you do :)

with what's been happening with the liveaboards in Egypt of late, I don't think I would want a similar experience whilst shore diving.

Have you thought about Saudi Arabia? Yonbu and even Jeddah have pretty decent shore diving.

Why do you say so? A shore-based operation is very different from an LA. No boat to sink or burn. There is no correlation between the two. I think that you are being unfair here.

@BoltSnap The Breakers is not really for non-diving families but rather for diving parents where the kids have been addicted as well.

Is that the same thing for Marsa Shagra and its sisters? I am the only diver; my two young kids will love snorkeling every day. Wife has nothing to do with water so far.
