My GF's son would like to get OW certified and we were hoping that he could do his class/pool work in Dallas and travel to San Marcos to do his check out dives in the training area of Spring Lake. Do any of you in that area know of PADI shops in that area that will take referral dives to Spring Lake? Thanks in advance.

Oak Hill Scuba can do it as well. It will work best if we schedule the check out dives with an existing class. This of course depends on the childs age. If he is younger than 15 (I think), PADI limits the size of the class that he can be in. You can also check with the other PADI dive shops in the Austin area. Austin Aqua Sports, Dive World and Scuba Land Adventures are all PADI dive shops.
