I am curious to see if anyone dives any of the shipwrecks along the North Coast. I was reading an article about the Frolic, a shipwreck near Point Cabrillo. Has anyone dived it, and if so, is there anything to see? Are there any other wrecks that are interesting to dive?

Most north coast wrecks don't stay very intact but they are interesting. The Pamona in Ft. Ross cove is an interesting dive. Also there is a wreck in South Gerstle Cove at Salt Pt. State Park. At minus tides you can see the bow sticking out of the water. There is some info and relics from it at the Visitors Center.

Thanks Dale, I need to hook up with you guys one of these days. Do you have anything planned in the near future?

Andy,
Yeah, planning to dive next weekend, Sat. the 16th out of Ocean Cove. You're welcome to come along.

Sounds great! I was already planning to meet up with some other friends there on Satudray already.

What time will you be there and how can I recognize you?

We're launching a green, wood dive boat, a friend of mines homemade boat, about 7:30 or 8 am. I'm the short guy in the white Chevy pickup. Its a work truck with utility body & lumber rack. It will be good to meet you, Andy. Just come up & introduce yourself.

Dale,
I'll be up there to meet up Andy as well. I'll be camping and diving. Look for me in a black tacoma truck and a grey kayak and say "Hi!"

I'll be sure & look for ya. Will you have coffee brewing about 7:30? LOL

Oops, I forgot, my buddy painted his boat. Its now "battleship grey" , not green.
