The exhibit will only be at the Detroit Science Center through September 1st.

I haven't been to it (will be going some time this coming week) but have only heard glowing recommendations.

Even though it is mostly about the SS REPUBLIC, they do have some local items on display, including a bottle collection from the St. Clair River, a large trotman anchor also from the St. Clair River, and some items from the REGINA.

We saw it last week, and it was great.
It's relly neat to see displays that are on loan from people from our area that we know, Nice work Greg lashbrook & Wayne Brusate!

We went. Definitely worth it.

I finally made it to the show. Very nice. I skipped the 10 min. movie that was part of the display as I already saw the hour long History channel movie on the Republic.

If you aren't sure what to do Labor Day weekend put this on your list.
