Anybody read this yet? I'm halfway through it and it was worth the 20 bucks or so. It's pretty tough to put down so I'm not getting anything done today.

I was ready to hit return on amozon.com for this book a few days ago. I backed off until next paycheck. Let me know a few points of interest. I'll have it in my hot little hands in about two weeks.

I finished the book a couple weeks ago and I was disappointed. To much about the dive accident and not enough good information about the wreck hunters. After thirty years of diving and finding Great Lakes shipwrecks there is alot bigger picture of what has taken place than was written in the book. My wife is correct ,she always is, it is time to start writing my story. Just do not hold your breathe, it may take a little time.

Ok, so who are you?

uote=Dean810]Ok, so who are you?[/quote]My name is Stan Stock and as I stated I have been diving Great Lake shipwrecks since 1977. I have logged over 2,500 shipwreck dives and I have found more than a dozen previously unlocated shipwrecks. I have had the pleasure of doing projects and diving with some truly outstanding people over the years. John Steele , Chuck and Jeri Feltner , and Paul Ehorn just to name a few. I have a wealth of experience and many great storys that should be shared with everyone. My wife has been telling me for years now to share my tales .I plan on starting my book this winter. Hopefully it will be something every diver can learn from and enjoy.

My copy should be here soon!

If you need me to proof read for ya!!;) ;)

For people who don't know any of these people or anything about the search for great lakes wrecks, this is a great book to get an overview of some of what's been going on over the years. Right now I'm just getting to the chapter on the accident.

Well, it's winter Stan, giddy up on the writing.

I am pretty disappointed in Shipwreck Hunter. I prefer when people who actually dive do the story telling...

and Stan, please make it engaging, I don't care if you were popular in High School or not...;)
