I do! Its very comfortable while diving. You don't feel any squeeze and the two tanks straps keep your tank from slipping. I love this BC and its great for beginners like me;)

It's a back-inflate BC and I'm very happy with mine. To me, it fit better than the Zeagle's and others I tried, even though it's not the most expensive of the bunch.

Does anyone own a sherwood avid? Comments ?

I don't own one myself but know quite a few people who do and I've tried it a few times. It's VERY comfortable and the dual tank band are a nice feature. I only wish they were stainless steel. Make sure you get one that fits correctly. Sherwood's sizing runs a little weird.

I'm also looking at the avid or the freedom for my first BC. Any squeeze? Seems to be common with the rentals I've been using. How are the integrated weights and the pockets? Thanks.

The Sherwood Avid is NOT a Back inflated BCD. The Avid is a Jacket style.

The Freedom is Sherwood's recreational back inflation bcd.

i was thinking it was a jacket. i hear the weight pockets are really good. never have to worry about the velcro wering out becasue there isnt any!!!

I dive with the Sherwood Freedom and am very happy with it. I dive in Sol. Cal and use it for travel . It works great !!!!

How exactly is the Sherwood sizing different from other BC's? I'm about to buy a Freedom, and normally I'm Medium. Any suggestions?
