Wondering if I can use my Sherwood Magnum SRB 5300 regulator with HP steel tanks at 3442 or 3500 PSI. I realize HP tanks usually have a DIN valve, so I'd need an adapter to use my Yoke regulator.

But I found this manual which lists a maximum 1st stage inlet pressure of 232 bar (3365 PSI, according to Google).

Does this mean that I should not use this regulator with 3442PSI tanks, even with a Yoke/DIN converter?

Thanks - I understand that. I'm wondering if it's safe to use an adapter to connect my 232 bar yoke 1st stage to the 3442 PSI DIN tank valve.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about the 80# difference between the service pressure of the yoke and the tank pressure, but it is your call.
