I've had one, it was actually very good, like everyone else has addressed, you do have to work for it. We used a ball peen hammer and a pair of channel lock pliers. We filled a 12" deep dish plate 4" deep with the meat from the one crab, fed four people that night, with plenty of crab salad for the next couple of days.

Was it good? Yes!
Would I do it again? Nah, probably not, too much effort.
