So I have 30 seconds left of safety stop during a 50 min 50ft max depth warm water rec dive and suddenly I start getting vibration warnings, depth jumps around 700, 0, 400ft, Err, etc. CNS warnings come and go. Missed Deco warnings. The face is lighting up like a Christmas tree. Temperature reading 300f.

Obviously the dive ended uneventful after this but I’m not sure what just happened. An hour later I was able to end the dive and reboot it and it seems to be working normally now surprisingly.

I won’t be diving it again until it gets serviced. Just wanted to share this experience and wonder if it’s something common or happened to anyone else.

Hi @Alurpal

I have had a Teric for a little over 6 years. I have had several more mundane problems (screen failure, antenna failures, bad batteries) than the dramatic problem you encountered. I have had several very good phone conversations with Richard Morton at Dive-Tronix.

I might try calling Dive-Tronix to discuss the problem before sending your Teric in for repair or replacement, you didn't say if if was still under warranty. The contact information is on both the Shearwater and Dive-Tronix websites. I have received absolutely fantastic service from Richard and Michele Morton at Dive-Tronix
