Picked up 3 of them. Two for my son for his sidemount rig and one for single mount so I can monitor my daughters gas when we dive (she is 11). I wonder how many will be hitting marketplace in the next few weeks for $300 a piece.
I bought 2, plus have the old school one. Similar have 8/11 daughters. Won’t be selling mine.

Makes you wonder if an upgraded transmitter is being released soon and they are clearing out stock.
Could be, also trying to move product. They put everything on sale.

Paragon is great to deal with, free fast shipping most of the time and no tax if you think little things like that matter ;)
Agreed, I've bought wetsuits, back plate and wing package, and various bcd parts from Paragon. Always good prices and quick shipping and no tax that adds up.

I kind of wondered the same thing but then thought, what else do you want from a transmitter? I've been using the old style from Shearwater and other companies for over 20 years and never had a problem.

What computer are you using to monitor your daughter's transmitter in addition to your own?

Garmin’s technology is way better, maybe Shearwater has caught up?

I've only used Scubapro, Oceanic, and for the last 5 years, Shearwater. Never actually seen a Garmin in action so nothing there to compare to.

Compared to the older Scubapro and Oceanic, Shearwater Teric is light years ahead in terms of user interface and screen information readability.

Ok, i ordered a transmitter and some other various bits of gear. That's a great deal from Shearwater, and some decent discounts on gauges. I really needed a new roller bag for gear too. The ScubaPro Mesh roller looks like just what I need.
