Question Shearwater Perdix2 Lost AI connection

Hi Guys!

Just a question - I sent an email to Shearwater yesterday but they did not respond yet - I use Perdix2 also as backup computer while diving on CCR - one of the reasons is that I use it as a secondary display for gas (transmitters on dil and oxygen). Suddenly it stopped showing me gas measurements. It states no comms constantly. On the other computer Nerd2 everything is fine and visible so transmitters are ok. I tried changing battery, unpair and then pair again, on/off AI d function, on / off computer, taking battery out for an hour. Nothing worked. Any other ideas besides service?

My guess is a faulty receiver in the computer. (I just had the same thing-they reported a loose connection). DT repaired immediately. No further issues.

I'm unsure right now how service of Canadian products will be handled because somebody just allowed their unestimable ego to drive the established world economic environment off the road into an uncharted landscape.

Hi @CptMat

See if your computer will pair with a transmitter if it is in direct contact with the transmitter. If yes, that may be further evidence of a problem with the antenna.

This is/was a relatively common problem with the Teric.
