Well, Subsurface only has the information you provide. So in order to give accurate results, it needs accurate data.
Dive computers almost universally don't tell us which tank is correlated to which function, all they tell us is which gases you had defined.
People often assume that we are just too lazy or too dumb to get this right. But given that the way side mount are handled is different from basically every dive computer to the next, and given that there are several different ways that side mount users use their tanks, there's really little we can do.
Once you give Subsurface the right information, it will give you accurate SAC data.
