sharpening

On my old Dell computer with windows XP Home ed., I had a program called MGI Photosuite that let me sharpen my photos.

I have a new HP with Vista, and it has no sharpening feature, though it has other photo editing features. I tried installing Roxio Creator 9 and it doesn't have sharpening either.

Is there some program (short of the expensive Photophop) that will help me sharpen my photos? Thanks.

picasa is a free program from google it has a sharpen tool

Lightroom - 30 day free trial (be warned, you'll likely want the whole program ).
