Sol Y Mar Sharks Bay: 2 B Entrance of Sharks Bay North Naama Bay

Iberotel Palace: Sharm El Maya Bay

Jaz Mirabel Club

Jaz Mirabel Park

Hilton Sharks Bay Resort

I have worked at the Mirabel for one month when I worked in Sharm, there is a long fringing reef and essentially you can't actually swim other than from the pool. The dive center uses bus to get you to Shark Bay and go dive in front of Mirabel to Tiran or to the old marina (takes ages)

I would not recommend Nabq as the transfer times for Ras Mohammed are really long.

Hilton Sharks Bay and other locations in Sharks bay can be interesting for Tiran however very few dive centers can use that Jetty so I would check the hotel you book can otherwise is a waste of energy

I concur with Crowley that hotel wise Naama Bay or Hadaba are a better choice, the hilton has good offers at both waterfalls (close to the beacon) or Naama Bay if you like hiltons then you can dive with Ocean College

Or Bay View + Emperor is usually decent value for money the rooms and service are basic compared to Hilton

Also check other options in Naama even if you don't like the on site dive center as they may be close to one you like

I have stayed at Mirabel and its useless as a base to dive from. If i recall it took 20-30 mins to get to the dive boats.

Best place i have stay in Egypt and dived is Akassia Swiss Resort in Marsa Alam. The house reef is okay but 5 min drive is the best reef ive ever seen. stunning.
