SHARKS in Sharks Cove!

a couple years back..
when folks would ask,
"Are there a lot of sharks in Sharks Cove?"..
i would promptly answer,
"Not so much.. it's only called Sharks Cove..
because the jagged cove looks like a shark-bite out of the shoreline."

however.. i've done 2 days of shore-diving at Sharks Cove in the past couple weeks..
and saw White Tip Sharks both days!

2 White Tips were just in front of the rock-wall to the far left of the cove.



and today.. there was a large 6-foot White Tip in front of and within the "Little Elevator Shaft"..



personally.. i think scubadrew (the "Shark-Whisperer") talked to some of his shark buddies to guard Sharks Cove and to scare off any would be poachers from the MLCD

Now I think I know where you were on that second video. Surf was up today so not too much activity in the poaching dept. but yes, those whitetips are on the Makai Watch payroll...only cause Tigers are too expensive...damn underwater protection union!
