Were just getting better Sharks what with genetic engineering and all.

Anyone remember what the big story was on the morning of Setember 11, 2001? Shark attacks. Neck and neck with Chandra Levy.

Well, at least the Sharks are back, anyway.

More people in the water? Sure a possibility. Less food in the water for sharks to feed on so they test anything that might be edible? Another possibility. Neurological effects of nearshore pollution on shark nervous systems and behavior? I wouldn't rule it out.

Fortunately fatalities are still extremely low considering.

I know shark populations are rapidly declining, but I see lots more than I did 20 years ago diving the same areas.
