Looks like johndiver99 is describing a sighting he had, not the shark that hit the freediver off Marathon.
Kind of hard to to discern much from the news clip; most of the wound is blurred out and it's hard to get a sense of the size or extent of the damage. The location and circumstance (hit to the thigh, spearfishing) remind me of the time a pair of Caribbean reef sharks decided to do a hit-and-run on my lionfish catch (which was fortunately still on my spear and held a few feet out).

yeah the tiger was in Palm Beach County.
