Dive babble all day long
Wow! Scary, but great video.
When I was a newbie, I took a lot of chances. I think there's even a pic of me on my 12th dive floating right next to a small chum cage filled with bloody fish. <shudder> While I know that most sharks won't hurt people, I don't think it's a good idea for the shark or the people to go on chummed dives. So these days I avoid them & also try to keep an eye out for my surroundings. That first diver was lucky, but also seemed to have great situational awareness.
But this post has made me re-think my move to only bring my Eezycut Trilobite cutting tool on a dive instead of that plus my knife. I don't think a shark would blink an eye if I tried to poke him with this.
