This post is an enquiry to those who might be joining me on board the Rocio del Mar for the trip to Socorro between 10th to 18th May 2015. From the various posts I understand there are a few members doing just that.

I am arriving in Los Cabos Airport from DFW in the afternoon of Saturday 9th May and staying overnight at the Tropicana Inn in San Jose del Cabo. From the hotel's website, I understood that they recommend Cabo Transfers - Home - Providing elite transportation services, such as cabo airport transfers, cabo private drivers, activites and tour to San Jose del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas and the surrounding Los Cabos area for the transfer from Los Cabos airport to the hotel. Looking at the transport company's website, there seem to be a few options but a shared shuttle or van seems to be the most economical as they charge $75 one way for the vehicle that can carry up to 4 people.

My question therefore is whether any people are arriving in Los Cabos the afternoon of Saturday 9th May and if so, would you be willing to share the cost of a shuttle?

You on flight AA 1385?
Yes I am and on AA 1225 for the return to DFW on 18th May.

When I did not get a response for my query, I panicked a bit and booked myself a return transfer using that Cabo Transfers link on their Shuttle. That cost me £34 all told (£17 each way) which is good. I think the way the Shuttle works is that they will fill it up with people arriving around the time AA 1385 lands and going in the general direction of Tropicana. Therefore, if you and your friends are landing at Los Cabos around 14:00 hours on Saurday 9th may, you may want to consider booking this same shuttle.

Hope you paid $17 each way, not £17.
I am on the same plane out of Dallas. See you in the boarding area. I will be the guy with the backpack that looks way too heavy for a carry on. It is, based on UK standards.
I will look for the guy NOT in a cowboy hat to find you and perhaps has an accent.
I will send you a PM with more info.

Sorry, I meant $17 & 34 and as a matter of fact I opted to pay the driver on meeting them. They were fine with it and sent me confirmatory invoices for both trips.
As mentioned in the PM, I'll have a black leather waist pouch, blue canvas shoes and those circular John Lennon spectacles. If I remember, I'll wear my blue Las Vegas baseball cap as well. :D

Thanks for this info. I just booked a transport for me and my husband. We don't arrive until 3:30 so couldn't coordinate with you. See you Saturday!
