Am I the only one who is having a hell of a time getting the film off the Shadow's glass? I've easily tried a mixture of toothpaste or softscrub dozens of times on the glass and it still fogs up eventually.

Hey Doug, wanna share with us what this film is made of?

I see from another thread you're tempted to "burn" - I've had many swear that it works. I tend to recommend a trip through the dishwasher. Failing that, give our guys in customer service a call - we've been through this routine with the vendor several times over the years - it seems to come and go. If you can't get it to stop, we'll try another one.

I quit the toothpaste route. I use a very fine abrasive liquid metal cleaner (available from any supermarket), works great very little elbow grease required and does not scratch the lens.
