I know that since Mares bought Dacor they made parts for some regs obsolete. My fiance has a Pacer ( i believe) that she bought as her first reg. It is barely used but I bought her an Apeks ATX40 combo so that she could dive a better reg. Is it worth keeping this reg? Is it going to be serviceable in the future?

Dacor is still making parts for the Pacer. No problem for now. TOmorrow may be a different story. Mares would love to get rid of those old Dacor regs. We shall see what happens...

I was just at my LDS and he stated that Dacor is not going to make parts for the old Pacers as Mares thinks they are too complicated. If I owned a Dacor, I would sell it. IMHO, right now the only regulators worth buying are Scubapro and Apeks.
