Hi,
I had just started my dive and tried to switch to compass mode and the screen on my Luna goes blank, than pops up with an "Error 34" code. I aborted the dive and returned to shore. After it shut itself off when I started it it always came up with that code. I pulled the battery and replaced it within 30 seconds or so and the computer comes back with all my residual information and the log intact with the exception of the 2-3 minutes of the aborted dive. It appears to work fine now. I have the Apnea mode installed so the software was updated last winter.

Anyone know what error code 34 is?

Hi Rick,
Thank you for choosing SCUBAPRO. Error code 34 is related to the battery cap not being aligned properly. You can review page 75 in the manual for proper alignment directions.
