When the CG recalled the 25'er they had dispatched from Monterey, they used the
words: "the body has been recovered". But from posts on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ba_diving/,
it turns out there does not appear to have been a fatality, just a buddy separation.

Could it have been "the BUDDY was recovered"? Would be a poor choice of words, but might explain the confusion.
