Anyone have any suggestions of sites from York south to Mass? We dive Nubble Light frequently. Done quite a bit in the Cape Ann area too. Just looking for something different, somewhere between the two.

Anything in the Hampton beach area?

The site mentioned on the "bridges" thread sounds interesting, where's that?

Thanks for any help,

Andrew

Diving in the river between Maine and NH. Good dives but you have to really watch the tides. I am pretty new to the river but it is a very interesting type of diving. Different then out in the ocean because the current really effects the bottom. A lot of artifacts. All in all pretty fun.

O2,
We were diving the Route 1 bridge (from the bridges thread) over the Portsmouth Channel. At this point it's a saltwater river with a really long, Indian name beginning with a P.

Reefseal was our source for the sites and what tide to dive them in. I have also heard that Portsmouth Scuba is also a good source for local knowledge about where and when to dives these sites.

I'm very new to diving the channel, but I can tell you (and Pete will also attest to this) that you gotta dive many of the sites with the right tide or you will be VERY HURTING.

Now that I have moved to New Hampshire I really have to learn how to pronounce the name of that river...=-) :doctor:

Thanks for the info all:)

Amy and I plan to dive Sun and/or Mon, and/or Tues. Not sure where yet, Cape Ann, Nubble, or that funky indian river place:) Maybe all of the above.

Anyone want to join us, or we join you, however you want to look at it. We are flexable, just give a shout.

Andrew
